How to get to Kalymnos from Kos airport via Mastihari

On arrival at Kos airport, you will probably find a taxi waiting outside to go to the port of Mastihari.
If not, use your credit card or cell phone to call the taxi station on (22420) 22777 or 23333. The fare to Mastihari is about 10 €, extra for luggage and night journeys. The trip takes about 10 minutes.

Mastihari is a village with shops, tavernas, a beach and a harbour.
From here, take the ferry to Pothia. Three boats ply this route – Apollon II, Olympios Zeus and Kalymnos Star– and there are several ferries every day. Fares are inexpensive.
Tickets can be bought at the office by the roundabout in Mastihari or the kiosk on the jetty close to the boat.
Tickets for Kalymnos Star can also be purchased by the office in Mastichari Beach Hotel.
The journey with Apollo II & Olympios Zeus takes about 45 minutes and with the Kalymnos Star 15-20 minutes. The view of Pothia as you approach the harbour is positively heart-stopping.
A vision that you will long remember!
