Getting to Pothia, the port of Kalymnos,
several sea links are possible from abroad, Piraeus, Kos, Rhodes, Thessaloniki, and the islands around:

From abroad: If you wish to come to Kalymnos by car, it’s possible!

• From western Europe: sea links between ITALY (Ancona, Bari, Brindisi, Venice) and GREECE (Patras north of Peloponnesus) are daily.
These shipping companies have agreements with all those which perform domestic Greece. Generally, the schedules between arrivals at Patras and departures from Piraeus allow the connection on the same day (for information: Patras - Piraeus = 210 km highway).
Between Eastern Europe and Northern Greece, Thessaloniki is a possible way in summer (see section below).
WinkBuying tickets with shipping partners is often entitled to tariff reductions.
CoolAll these ferries are fully equipped (cabins of various classes, bars, restaurants ...) and their hold can charge hundreds of vehicles of all types.

From Piraeus (the port of Athens, departure area located between gates E1 and E2), the connection Piraeus - Rhodos - Piraeus serves Kalymnos:

At the present time, two shipping companies provide the route: Blue Star Ferries with the ferry boat “Diagoras” and ANEK with the ferry boat “Ierapetra”.

The journey takes between 11 and 13 hours depending on the boats and the stopovers.
The various stopovers can also enable you to join Kalymnos or to carry out a connection.
Some days, these boats do not serve Kalymnos. In these cases they make a stop in the close island of Kos from which it is then easy to join Kalymnos.

The possible stopovers (depending on the shipping companies, days and periods) are:                                                Ierapetra
•    in Cyclades: Paros, Naxos.
•    in Dodécanèse: Astypalia, Patmos, Lipsi, Léros, Kos, Nissyros, Tilos, Symi, Kastellorizo.
Cool All these ships are able to carry passengers + vehicles of all types / sizes.
All these ferries are fully equipped (cabins of various classes, bars, restaurants ...) and their hold can charge hundreds of vehicles of all types.

From KOS (an island close to Kalymnos) by one of the main two ports:

that of the main city of Kos (at approximately 22 km from the airport):
Several ships named in this section stopover at the port of Kos before stopping at Kalymnos (about 1 hour), like the large ferries carrying out the connection Piraeus-Rhodos or smaller like the "Catamaran".
The travel time is often shorter from the port of Mastichari.
That of Mastichari a smaller port (but closer to Kos airport, 5 km and to the port of Kalymnos, travel time 20 mn to 50 mn). Many connections with Mastichari are daily by two companies:
A.N.E K, with the boat “KALYMNOS STAR”(travel time = 20 minutes).

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
